On the wedding day everyone looks at the bride. And then at you. So that the groom’s hairstyle, beard, skin and hands look right on the day, you plan your pit stop well ahead and not the evening before. Here is a timetable for the last eight weeks before you say “I do”. We do hair and beard at Amalienstraße, at the Men’s hairdresser and barber for men in Munich. Face and hands you can get at both studios.
Try new things early, so there is time for corrections. In the week of the wedding you only touch up, and on the wedding morning you try nothing at all. Book Hair & Beard at Amalienstraße 41, for example the combo Hair & Beard “Der Klassiker” (€84, 60 min.).
The 8-week plan at a glance
Hair needs time to grow back, and skin doesn’t always react the way you’d like on the wedding morning. That’s why a plan is worth it. Here is how you can divide up the weeks:

It’s best to agree the exact schedule with your team at the first appointment. Tell them right away when the wedding is.
8 to 6 weeks before: Hair & Beard trial run
Now is the time for experiments. At our place, master hairdressers take a calm look at your hair and beard and work out with you which style you want. If you don’t know yet, we’ll advise you.
Which cut suits depends on your hair length:
- “Fast Man” for hair up to 5 cm, €39, 20 min.
- “Man of today” for hair up to 10 cm, €49, 30 min.: hair wash in the back-massage chair, head massage and hair tonic, haircut, blow-dry, styling product, finishing.
- “Die Matte” for hair from 10 cm, €85, 50 min.
- “Endgegner”, any length, the full programme, €85, 50 min.
For the beard, “Get ready” (€35, 30 min.) is the classic. It includes beard wash as needed, warm compresses, shaving cream, reshaping, contours, cold compresses and a head massage.
Grey hair? With “Kill the Grey” we cover it on the hair (€59, 20 min.) or on the beard (€49, 20 min.). For hair from about 5 cm there is the Long Hairs variant (€99, 40 min.). The processing time is short, and the result is not supposed to look dyed. Still, test it now rather than in the week of the wedding.
6 to 2 weeks before: skin, hands and body
Face: A Facial treatment for men in Munich always starts with an assessment at our place. The beautician looks at your skin type and tailors the treatment to it. Important for timing: depending on skin type, slight irritation and redness can occur straight after the treatment, so no sauna and no sunbed straight afterwards. For a start, “Start your Engine” (€59, 30 min.) is a good choice, our offer for trying things out. “Start your Engine” is without extractions. If you want extractions, start with “Comfort Mode”. One client wrote in his review that before his wedding he specifically wanted only treatments without any risk of irritation. That is exactly the kind of thing you say at the assessment.
Hands: At the exchange of rings everyone looks at your hands. The manicure “Der Klassiker” (€49, 40 min.) includes cuticle removal, polishing and a hand massage, at both studios.
Body: Honeymoon on the beach planned? Waxing usually lasts at least several weeks. Slight redness afterwards is normal and mostly gone after a few days, so allow some distance from the big day. The last week: fine-tuning without experiments
Nothing new gets invented now. The look from the trial run is only touched up.
- Hair and beard in one appointment: the combo Hair & Beard “Der Klassiker” (€84, 60 min.).
- The full programme: “Kopfball” – Hair & Beard “Die Werkstatt” & “Goldeneyes” (€154, 90 min.). With beard wash, exfoliation, warm and cold compresses, reshaping, contours, head, face and neck massage, eye pads, hair wash, haircut, blow-dry and styling.
- Clean-shaven instead of a beard: “Baby Face – The Knife” (€49, 40 min.) with pre-trimming, compress, razor shave and aftercare.
- From head to toe: the combo #vonkopfbisfuss “Der Klassiker” (€192, 140 min.) with manicure, pedicure, hair and beard.

With the groomsmen: a pit stop as a team
The final touch before the wedding doesn’t have to be a solo. With our Group Event, you can book two to eight treatments in parallel, and everyone chooses what suits him. Can I have my hair and beard done in one appointment?
Yes. When booking online you can select haircut and beard treatment individually and combine them as you like. The calendar then shows you the free appointments automatically. Ready-made, there is the combo Hair & Beard “Der Klassiker”, which costs €84 and takes 60 minutes. The full programme is called “Kopfball”, that is Hair & Beard “Die Werkstatt” with “Goldeneyes” eye pads, massages and styling for €154 in 90 minutes. You book both at Amalienstraße 41.
Can my groomsmen and I come together?
