Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

We are very pleased about your interest in our company. Data protection is of particularly high importance to the management of DrB Live GmbH. Use of the websites of DrB Live GmbH is generally possible without providing any personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to use special services of our company via our website, processing of personal data could become necessary. If the processing of personal data is necessary and there is no legal basis for such processing, we generally obtain the consent of the data subject.
The processing of personal data, for example the name, address, email address or telephone number of a data subject, always takes place in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and in compliance with the national data protection provisions applicable to DrB Live GmbH. By means of this privacy policy, our company would like to inform the public about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal data we collect, use and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed of the rights to which they are entitled by means of this privacy policy.
As the controller responsible for processing, DrB Live GmbH has implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure the most complete protection possible for the personal data processed via this website. Nevertheless, internet-based data transmissions can in principle have security gaps, so absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every data subject is free to transmit personal data to us by alternative means, for example by telephone.

  1. Definitions
The privacy policy of DrB Live GmbH is based on the terms used by the European legislator for directives and regulations when adopting the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our privacy policy is intended to be easy to read and understand for the public as well as for our customers and business partners. To ensure this, we would like to explain the terms used in advance.
In this privacy policy we use, among others, the following terms:a) personal data
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter “data subject”). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.b) data subject
Data subject means any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is processed by the controller responsible for the processing.c) processing
Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.d) restriction of processing
Restriction of processing means the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting their processing in the future.e) profiling
Profiling means any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that natural person’s performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements.f) pseudonymisation
Pseudonymisation means the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.g) controller or controller responsible for the processing
Controller or controller responsible for the processing means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law.h) processor
Processor means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.i) recipient
Recipient means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body to which personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be regarded as recipients.

    j) third party
Third party means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor and the persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process the personal data.

    k) consent
Consent means any indication of wishes, freely given by the data subject for the specific case in an informed and unambiguous manner, in the form of a statement or other clear affirmative action, by which the data subject signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her.

  2. Name and address of the controller responsible for the processing
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), other data protection laws applicable in the Member States of the European Union and other provisions of a data protection nature is:DrB Live GmbH

  3.  Cookies
The websites of DrB Live GmbH use cookies. Cookies are text files that are placed and stored on a computer system via an internet browser.
Numerous websites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a character string by which websites and servers can be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited websites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other internet browsers that contain other cookies. A particular internet browser can be recognised and identified by means of the unique cookie ID.
By using cookies, DrB Live GmbH can provide the users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without setting cookies.
By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimised in the interest of the user. As already mentioned, cookies enable us to recognise the users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. The user of a website that uses cookies does not, for example, have to re-enter their access data on every visit to the website, because this is taken over by the website and the cookie stored on the user’s computer system. Another example is the cookie of a shopping basket in an online shop. The online shop remembers the items a customer has placed in the virtual shopping basket by means of a cookie.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the internet browser used, and thereby permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If the data subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the internet browser used, under certain circumstances not all functions of our website may be fully usable.
In addition, on your first visit we ask for your consent in the cookie banner for all cookies and services that are not strictly necessary. Further details are in the section “Consent management (cookie banner)” and on the page “Cookies and settings”.
  4. Consent management (cookie banner)
On your first visit to our website, a cookie banner opens. There you decide which services that are not strictly necessary we may use. For this we use the software “Real Cookie Banner” of devowl.io GmbH, Tannet 12, 94539 Grafling, Germany. The software runs exclusively on the server of this website. Your selection is stored there in the database of the website. devowl.io GmbH and other third parties do not receive this data.
Purpose and legal basis: We obtain your consent, store it, prove it and apply your selection on every further page view. The legal basis for the documentation is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR, because we must be able to prove that consent has been given. The fact that your selection is stored in your browser is permissible without consent under Section 25(2), no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), because the cookie banner would otherwise not work. For the services you consent to, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG apply. Further details can be found under the respective services.
What data we store: When you make a selection, we store on the server a randomly generated identifier of this consent (UUID), which does not identify you as a person, plus date and time, the version of the banner settings, your decision (the services and service groups agreed to), the button clicked, the page on which you decided and the size of your browser window. We do not store your IP address in plain text, but only shortened and as a hash value. In your browser we place an entry (cookie or local storage) with the name “real_cookie_banner”. It contains the UUID, the version of the banner settings and your selection. For Google Consent Mode, a further entry ending in “-gcm” is added. The test cookie “real_cookie_banner-test” only briefly checks whether your browser allows cookies and is deleted again immediately.
Storage period: The entry in your browser remains for 365 days. After that we ask you again. We also ask you again if we change services or texts in the banner. We keep the proof of your consent on the server for 120 months (ten years) and then delete it automatically.
Changes and withdrawal: You can change your selection at any time and withdraw your consent with effect for the future. To do so, click in the footer of any page on Privacy settings. The banner then opens again. The lawfulness of the processing up to the withdrawal remains unaffected (Art. 7(3) GDPR). You can view your previous consent history here: Show consent history.
Voluntariness: Consent is voluntary. If you do not consent, the services that require consent remain switched off. Individual content, for example embedded videos, is then not displayed.
Who has access: We and the service providers we have commissioned for hosting and maintenance of the website have access to the stored consents, as far as this is necessary for operation (data processing on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR).
  5. Collection of general data and information
With every call-up of the website by a data subject or an automated system, the website of DrB Live GmbH collects a series of general data and information. This general data and information is stored in the log files of the server. The following may be collected: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-pages that are accessed on our website via an accessing system, (5) the date and time of an access to the website, (6) an Internet Protocol address (IP address), (7) the internet service provider of the accessing system and (8) other similar data and information that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.
When using this general data and information, DrB Live GmbH does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed to (1) deliver the content of our website correctly, (2) optimise the content of our website and the advertising for it, (3) ensure the long-term functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and (4) provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for criminal prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. This anonymously collected data and information is therefore evaluated by DrB Live GmbH on the one hand statistically and furthermore with the aim of increasing data protection and data security in our company, in order ultimately to ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data of the server log files is stored separately from all personal data provided by a data subject.
  6. Hosting with Raidboxes
Our website is operated by Raidboxes GmbH, Hafenstraße 32, 48153 Münster, Germany. When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data, for example your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and information about your browser. We have a data processing agreement with Raidboxes pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in data centres in the European Union. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. You may object at any time pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. Raidboxes privacy policy: raidboxes.io/datenschutz.
  7. Contact options via the website
On the basis of statutory provisions, the website of DrB Live GmbH contains information that enables quick electronic contact with our company as well as direct communication with us, which also includes a general address for so-called electronic mail (email address). If a data subject contacts the controller responsible for the processing by email or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the data subject are stored automatically. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by a data subject to the controller are stored for the purposes of processing or of contacting the data subject. No disclosure of this personal data to third parties takes place.
  8. Routine erasure and blocking of personal data
The controller processes and stores personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage, or where this was provided for by the European legislator for directives and regulations or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the controller is subject.
If the purpose of storage ceases to apply or a storage period prescribed by the European legislator for directives and regulations or another competent legislator expires, the personal data are routinely blocked or erased in accordance with the statutory provisions.
  9. Rights of the data subjecta) Right to confirmation
Every data subject has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them are being processed. If a data subject wishes to exercise this right to confirmation, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time.b) Right of access
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to obtain from the controller at any time, free of charge, information about the personal data stored about them and a copy of this information. Furthermore, the European legislator for directives and regulations has granted the data subject access to the following information:
Furthermore, the data subject has a right of access as to whether personal data have been transferred to a third country or to an international organisation. If this is the case, the data subject also has the right to be informed of the appropriate safeguards relating to the transfer.
If a data subject wishes to exercise this right of access, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time.
    the purposes of the processing
the categories of personal data that are processed
the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organisations
where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period
the existence of the right to request from the controller rectification or erasure of personal data concerning them or restriction of processing, or to object to such processing
the existence of the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
where the personal data are not collected from the data subject: any available information as to their source
the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) GDPR and — at least in those cases — meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subjectc) Right to rectification
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to request the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them. Furthermore, the data subject has the right, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to request that incomplete personal data be completed — including by means of a supplementary statement.
If a data subject wishes to exercise this right to rectification, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time.d) Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to request from the controller that the personal data concerning them be erased without undue delay, where one of the following grounds applies and insofar as the processing is not necessary:
Where one of the above grounds applies and a data subject wishes to have personal data stored at DrB Live GmbH erased, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time. The employee of DrB Live GmbH will arrange for the request for erasure to be complied with without delay.
Where the personal data have been made public by DrB Live GmbH and our company, as controller, is obliged under Art. 17(1) GDPR to erase the personal data, DrB Live GmbH, taking account of the available technology and the cost of implementation, shall take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform other controllers which are processing the published personal data that the data subject has requested erasure by such other controllers of any links to, or copy or replication of, those personal data, insofar as processing is not necessary. The employee of DrB Live GmbH will arrange what is necessary in the individual case.
The personal data have been collected or otherwise processed for purposes for which they are no longer necessary.
The data subject withdraws consent on which the processing was based according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, and there is no other legal basis for the processing.
The data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.
The personal data have been unlawfully processed.
The erasure of the personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation under Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject.
The personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services pursuant to Art. 8(1) GDPR.e) Right to restriction of processing
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the following applies:
Where one of the above conditions applies and a data subject wishes to request the restriction of personal data stored at DrB Live GmbH, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time. The employee of DrB Live GmbH will arrange the restriction of the processing.
The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.
The processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use.
The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
The data subject has objected to the processing under Art. 21(1) GDPR, and it has not yet been established whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.f) Right to data portability
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to receive the personal data concerning them, which were provided by the data subject to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. They also have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data were provided, where the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and the processing is carried out by automated means, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
Furthermore, in exercising their right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20(1) GDPR, the data subject has the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible and where this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
To assert the right to data portability, the data subject can contact an employee of DrB Live GmbH at any time.g) Right to object
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning them which is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
In the event of an objection, DrB Live GmbH will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where DrB Live GmbH processes personal data for direct marketing purposes, the data subject has the right to object at any time to processing of the personal data for such marketing. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If the data subject objects to DrB Live GmbH to processing for direct marketing purposes, DrB Live GmbH will no longer process the personal data for these purposes.
In addition, the data subject has the right, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to object to processing of personal data concerning them that is carried out at DrB Live GmbH for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes pursuant to Art. 89(1) GDPR, unless such processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.
To exercise the right to object, the data subject can directly contact any employee of DrB Live GmbH or another employee. The data subject is also free, in connection with the use of information society services, and notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC, to exercise their right to object by automated means using technical specifications.h) Automated individual decision-making, including profiling
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing — including profiling — which produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them, provided the decision (1) is not necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the controller, or (2) is authorised by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, or (3) is based on the data subject’s explicit consent.
If the decision (1) is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the controller, or (2) is based on the data subject’s explicit consent, DrB Live GmbH shall implement suitable measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, which include at least the right to obtain human intervention on the part of the controller, to express his or her point of view and to contest the decision.
If the data subject wishes to assert rights relating to automated decisions, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time.i) Right to withdraw consent under data protection law
Every data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right, granted by the European legislator for directives and regulations, to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time.
If the data subject wishes to exercise their right to withdraw consent, they can contact an employee of the controller at any time. You can also withdraw or change consents to cookies and services on this website at any time with one click, via Privacy settings in the footer.
  10. Privacy provisions on the use and application of Facebook
We only use this service if you have consented in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via Privacy settings .
The controller has integrated components of the company Facebook on this website. Facebook is a social network.
A social network is an online social meeting place, an online community that usually allows users to communicate with one another and interact in virtual space. A social network can serve as a platform for the exchange of opinions and experiences or enables the internet community to provide personal or business-related information. Facebook allows users of the social network, among other things, to create private profiles, upload photos and network via friend requests.
The operating company of Facebook is Facebook, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. If a data subject lives outside the USA or Canada, the controller responsible for the processing of personal data is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.
With each call-up of one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Facebook component (Facebook plug-in) has been integrated, the internet browser on the data subject’s information technology system is automatically prompted by the respective Facebook component to download a representation of the corresponding Facebook component from Facebook. A complete overview of all Facebook plug-ins can be accessed at developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. As part of this technical process, Facebook becomes aware of which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook recognises with each call-up of our website by the data subject, and for the entire duration of their stay on our website, which specific sub-page of our website the data subject visits. This information is collected by the Facebook component and assigned by Facebook to the data subject’s Facebook account. If the data subject clicks one of the Facebook buttons integrated on our website, for example the “Like” button, or submits a comment, Facebook assigns this information to the data subject’s personal Facebook user account and stores this personal data.
Facebook always receives information via the Facebook component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to Facebook at the same time as calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether or not the data subject clicks on the Facebook component. If the data subject does not want such information to be transmitted to Facebook, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their Facebook account before calling up our website.
The data policy published by Facebook, which is available at de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/, provides information on the collection, processing and use of personal data by Facebook. It also explains what settings options Facebook offers to protect the privacy of the data subject. In addition, various applications are available that make it possible to suppress data transmission to Facebook. The data subject can use such applications to suppress data transmission to Facebook.
  11. Privacy provisions on the use and application of Getty Images pictures
The controller has integrated components of the company Getty Images on this website. Getty Images is an American image agency. An image agency is a company that offers images and other image material on the market. Image agencies generally market photographs, illustrations and film footage. Via an image agency, various customers, in particular website operators, editorial offices of print and TV media and advertising agencies, license the images they use.
The operating company of the Getty Images components is Getty Images International, 1st Floor, The Herbert Building, The Park, Carrickmines, Dublin 18, Ireland.
Getty Images permits the embedding of stock images (where applicable, free of charge). Embedding is the inclusion or integration of certain third-party content, for example text, video or image data, that is provided by a third-party website and then appears on one’s own website. A so-called embed code is used for embedding. An embed code is HTML code that a website operator integrates into a website. Where a website operator has integrated an embed code, the external content from the other website is by default displayed immediately as soon as a website is visited. To display the third-party content, the external content is loaded directly from the other website. Getty Images provides further information on embedding content at the link www.gettyimages.de/resources/embed.
Through the technical implementation of the embed code, which enables the display of Getty Images’ images, the IP address of the internet connection through which the data subject accesses our website is transmitted to Getty Images. Getty Images also records our website, the browser type used, the browser language, and the time and duration of access. In addition, Getty Images may collect navigation information, that is, information about which of our subpages the data subject has visited and which links have been clicked, as well as other interactions the data subject has carried out when visiting our website. This data may be stored and analysed by Getty Images.
Further information and the applicable privacy provisions of Getty Images can be accessed at www.gettyimages.de/enterprise/privacy-policy.
  12. Google Tag Manager and Google Consent Mode
We use Google Tag Manager. It lets us manage measurement and advertising components of our website (so-called tags) through a central interface. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We operate our own container for this. It belongs to us and is managed only by us and by persons we have commissioned.
Google Tag Manager is only loaded after you have consented in the cookie banner to a service that requires it (statistics or marketing). Until then, your browser has no connection to Google Tag Manager. When it loads, your browser transmits your IP address and details about your browser to Google, as a technical necessity. According to Google, the Tag Manager itself sets no cookies and itself processes no personal data. The services it triggers may do so. They are described separately below: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Meta Pixel. Each of these services is only triggered if you have consented to the relevant group.
We also use Google Consent Mode. It tells the Google services what you have consented to, using four status values: “analytics_storage” for statistics and “ad_storage”, “ad_user_data” and “ad_personalization” for advertising. Before you decide, and if you decline, all four values are set to “denied” (refused). Only after you consent does our cookie banner set the relevant values to “granted” (given). The state is stored in your browser with the suffix “-gcm”.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, via Privacy settings. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. The basis is the adequacy decision of the European Commission for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
  13. Privacy provisions on the use and application of Google Analytics (with anonymisation function)
We only use this service if you have consented in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via Privacy settings .
The controller has integrated the Google Analytics component (with anonymisation function) on this website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Web analytics is the collection, gathering and analysis of data about the behaviour of website visitors. A web analytics service collects, among other things, data on the website from which a data subject came to a website (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed, or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. Web analytics is mainly used to optimise a website and for the cost-benefit analysis of internet advertising.
The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
We use Google Analytics 4. This sets the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_*” with a lifetime of 730 days. According to Google, IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4.
The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyse visitor flows on our website. Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website, to compile online reports for us that show the activity on our websites, and to provide further services connected with the use of our website.
Google Analytics places a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By placing the cookie, Google is enabled to analyse the use of our website. Each time one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, is accessed, the internet browser on the data subject’s information technology system is automatically prompted by the respective Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. In the course of this technical procedure, Google obtains knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which Google uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently to enable commission settlements.
The cookie stores personal information, for example the access time, the place from which an access originated and the frequency of the data subject’s visits to our website. On each visit to our websites, this personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass on the personal data collected through the technical procedure to third parties.
The data subject can, as already described above, prevent our website from placing cookies at any time by means of a corresponding setting in the internet browser used, and thereby permanently object to the placing of cookies. Such a setting in the internet browser used would also prevent Google from placing a cookie on the data subject’s information technology system. In addition, a cookie already placed by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, the data subject has the option of objecting to and preventing the collection of the data generated by Google Analytics and relating to the use of this website, as well as the processing of this data by Google. To do so, the data subject must download and install a browser add-on from the link tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This browser add-on tells Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information on website visits may be transmitted to Google Analytics. Google regards the installation of the browser add-on as an objection. If the data subject’s information technology system is deleted, formatted or reinstalled at a later point, the data subject must install the browser add-on again in order to deactivate Google Analytics. If the browser add-on is uninstalled or deactivated by the data subject or by another person within the data subject’s sphere of control, it is possible to reinstall or reactivate the browser add-on.
Further information and the applicable privacy provisions of Google can be accessed at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and at www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail at this link: www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.
  14. Privacy provisions on the use and application of Google Remarketing
We only use this service if you have consented in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via Privacy settings .
The controller has integrated Google Remarketing services on this website. Google Remarketing is a feature of Google AdWords that allows a company to display advertising to internet users who have previously visited the company’s website. The integration of Google Remarketing therefore allows a company to create user-based advertising and, as a result, to show internet users advertisements that are relevant to their interests.
The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The purpose of Google Remarketing is the display of interest-relevant advertising. Google Remarketing allows us to display advertisements via the Google advertising network, or to have them displayed on other websites, that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of internet users.
Google Remarketing places a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By placing the cookie, Google is able to recognise the visitor to our website when that visitor subsequently visits websites that are also members of the Google advertising network. Each time a website on which the Google Remarketing service has been integrated is accessed, the internet browser of the data subject automatically identifies itself to Google. In the course of this technical procedure, Google obtains knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address or the browsing behaviour of the user, which Google uses, among other things, to display interest-relevant advertising.
The cookie stores personal information, for example the websites visited by the data subject. On each visit to our websites, personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is therefore transmitted to Google in the United States of America.
Furthermore, the data subject has the option of objecting to interest-based advertising by Google. To do so, the data subject must call up the link www.google.de/settings/ads from each of the internet browsers they use and make the desired settings there.
Further information and the applicable privacy provisions of Google can be accessed at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
  15. Privacy provisions on the use and application of Google AdWords
We only use this service if you have consented in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via Privacy settings .
The controller has integrated Google AdWords on this website. Google AdWords is an internet advertising service that allows advertisers to place ads both in Google’s search engine results and in the Google advertising network. Google AdWords allows an advertiser to define certain keywords in advance, by means of which an ad is displayed in Google’s search engine results only when the user retrieves a keyword-relevant search result using the search engine. In the Google advertising network, the ads are distributed to topic-relevant websites by means of an automatic algorithm and in line with the previously defined keywords.
The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The purpose of Google AdWords is to promote our website by displaying interest-relevant advertising on the websites of third-party companies and in the search engine results of the Google search engine, and to display third-party advertising on our website.
If a data subject reaches our website via a Google ad, Google places a so-called conversion cookie on the data subject’s information technology system. What cookies are has already been explained above. The cookies “_gcl_au” and “_gcl_aw” have a lifetime of 90 days and are not used to identify the data subject. Via the conversion cookie, as long as the cookie has not yet expired, it is traced whether certain subpages, for example the shopping cart of an online shop system, were accessed on our website. The conversion cookie allows both us and Google to trace whether a data subject who reached our website via an AdWords ad generated revenue, that is, completed or abandoned a purchase of goods.
The data and information collected through the use of the conversion cookie are used by Google to compile visit statistics for our website. We in turn use these visit statistics to determine the total number of users who were referred to us through AdWords ads, that is, to determine the success or failure of the respective AdWords ad and to optimise our AdWords ads for the future. Neither our company nor other Google AdWords advertising customers receive information from Google by means of which the data subject could be identified.
The conversion cookie stores personal information, for example the websites visited by the data subject. On each visit to our websites, personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is therefore transmitted to Google in the United States of America.
Such a setting in the internet browser used would also prevent Google from placing a conversion cookie on the data subject’s information technology system. In addition, a cookie already placed by Google AdWords can be deleted at any time via the internet browser or other software programs.

  24. Legal basis of the processing
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR serves our company as the legal basis for processing operations in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary for the supply of goods or the provision of another service or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The same applies to processing operations that are necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures, for example in the case of enquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may become necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor were injured on our premises and his name, age, health insurance data or other vital information then had to be passed on to a doctor, a hospital or other third parties. The processing would then be based on Art. 6(1)(d) GDPR. Finally, processing operations could be based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This legal basis is used for processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases, if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override it. We are permitted to carry out such processing operations in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, it took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the controller (Recital 47, second sentence, GDPR).
For the storing of information on your end device and access to it, for example through cookies, Section 25 TDDDG also applies. For this we obtain your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG. Without consent we only set cookies that are strictly necessary under Section 25(2) TDDDG.
  25. Legitimate interests in the processing pursued by the controller or a third party
If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest is the conduct of our business for the benefit of the well-being of all our employees and our shareholders.
  26. Duration for which the personal data is stored
The criterion for the duration of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After the period has expired, the relevant data is routinely deleted, unless it is still required for the performance of a contract or the initiation of a contract.
  27. Statutory or contractual provisions for the provision of personal data; necessity for the conclusion of a contract; obligation of the data subject to provide the personal data; possible consequences of failure to provide it
We inform you that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or may also arise from contractual provisions (e.g. information about the contractual partner). Occasionally, in order to conclude a contract, it may be necessary for a data subject to provide us with personal data which we must subsequently process. For example, the data subject is obliged to provide us with personal data when our company concludes a contract with them. Failure to provide the personal data would mean that the contract with the data subject could not be concluded. Before personal data is provided by the data subject, the data subject must contact one of our employees. Our employee will inform the data subject on a case-by-case basis whether the provision of the personal data is required by law or contract or is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, whether there is an obligation to provide the personal data, and what the consequences of failure to provide the personal data would be.
  28. Existence of automated decision-making
There is no automated decision-making that has a legal effect on you. The measurement and advertising services described above may evaluate usage data under a pseudonym, but only if you have given your consent beforehand.
