HydraFacial is a brand name; the type of treatment behind it is called hydradermabrasion. From now on we offer AQAFACIAL™, hydradermabrasion developed specifically for men, at Wilhelmstraße 32 and Amalienstraße 41. To get a first taste, take the “Update” | AQAFACIAL™ for the whole face, 30 minutes for €169. For the eye area alone there is the “eyeBOOST”, 30 minutes for €99. Every treatment starts with a skin analysis, and only then is it decided what your skin gets.
HydraFacial® is a registered trademark. Under this name a manufacturer offers devices and treatment concepts. The type of treatment behind it is called hydradermabrasion; sometimes you will also read hydrodermabrasion or Aquafacial.
The principle is quickly explained. The skin is cleansed and gently exfoliated. Then impurities are suctioned out of the pores, and finally the skin gets moisture and nourishing serums. All in one appointment.

If you have been coming to us for a while you will remember: we used to offer HydraFacial at the Werkstatt. From now on AQAFACIAL™ takes its place.
AQAFACIAL™ is a technology developed specifically for men and on the basis of several thousand facial treatments. At its core it is about a thorough cleansing and nourishing your skin with nutrients. Depending on the variant, massage, booster, LED light or lymphatic drainage are added. There are no needles, with one exception: “Performance” deliberately combines the treatment with microneedling.
The rest is Werkstatt as usual. You are treated by state-examined beauticians and master beauticians. There is water, coffee or a Tegernseer. At Amalienstraße you sit between brick walls and retro furniture, with a BUSHMILLS if you like. Our own parking spaces are only at Wilhelmstraße.
To get started the “Update” is enough, you don’t have to block a whole afternoon for it. It is our pit stop for the face: skin analysis and consultation, cleansing, exfoliation, deep cleansing, nourishment & rebuilding, finishing care. Fits easily into a lunch break.

No. We used to have HydraFacial in our programme; from now on we do AQAFACIAL™. That is hydradermabrasion developed specifically for men, in five variants from 30 to 90 minutes. You get it at both studios, at Wilhelmstraße 32 and Amalienstraße 41.
Each studio sets that itself. The price depends mainly on the duration and on what is added to the basic programme. We do not name other providers’ prices here. With us AQAFACIAL™ starts at €99: that is the “eyeBOOST” for the eye area (30 minutes). For the whole face you pay between €169 (“Update”, 30 minutes) and €349 (“Strahlemann”, 90 minutes).
It is a cosmetic care treatment and not a miracle cure. One appointment gives a fresh skin feeling. If you want to keep it, come regularly. Depending on skin type the skin can be slightly red afterwards, so skip the sauna and solarium straight afterwards. Then there are time and money: the “Update” takes 30 minutes and costs €169.
That can’t be said across the board. That is exactly why there is a skin analysis before every appointment. Say openly there if your skin is currently irritated, inflamed or injured, if you have sunburn, recently had a peel or another treatment, or take medication. Your beautician will then adapt the treatment or advise you on a different one. Skin conditions belong in a dermatologist’s practice, not in a beauty studio.
Straight after the appointment the skin feels smoother and looks fresher. How long that lasts depends on your skin, your care at home and your daily life. A fixed figure would be unserious. Regular appointments achieve more than a single one. Your beautician will discuss with you after the skin analysis which rhythm suits you.
These are two different approaches. In hydradermabrasion the skin is cleansed, exfoliated, suctioned and nourished, without needles. In microneedling the skin is treated with the finest needles.
